I hope this message finds all of you warm, happy and healthy.

I'm sending this mail in a plain text format, in the hopes that it will be
more readable for members that have mail systems that don't accept the
previous format. One user indicated that the previous messages ran
together, without paragraph spacing, and looked like a "stream of
consciousness" (or in my case, a dribble of babble). We have also had
delivery issues with users of Yahoo mail. Our messages from BSPSC have
repeatedly been rejected by Yahoo due to "user complaints". Joel Peters has
requested assistance from our host provider and we will do what we can to
help insure the messages are processed.

We will have the 2016 match schedule posted on our website this week. A
couple of items to note: We will have a New Competitor Clinic on March
13th, and a Range Officer Seminar on March 20th. The seminar will enable
shooters who are USPSA members to become Range Officers. ROs are the
backbone of our match management and we really need to increase the number
of ROs available at our matches. We are very fortunate that Kevin Imel will
be our instructor. Kevin is a great instructor, and many of you have seen
his "The Nuts and Bolts of Effective Stage Design" series in Front Sight.
Information on both of these events will be posted later this month on our
website.

We will also have a Rimfire Steel and Chili Match on February 21st. I'll
get you more details before February, but for now consider finding your best
chili recipe and cleaning up that .22 that hasn't been fired since rimfire
ammo became as expensive as 9mm.

This year the WMFGA and BSPSC will host a special competition sponsored by
and televised on the Outdoor Channel. The regional competition will be held
in August, and will include competitors from Alaska, Washington, Oregon,
Idaho and Montana. We still have a lot of details to finalize, but
preliminary information can be found at http://ammarksman.com/learnmore
after January 15th. We will need a lot of volunteers to make this event
successful, and we will keep you advised as more information becomes
available.

Thanks,

Scott
